Hanging Clip Board

This little craft isn't exactly a clip board, per se.
But you can clip things onto it, that counts, right?

I got the crafty bug recently and had a large peice of cardboard laying around and I had just came across this scrap of fabric while cleaning out my office closet. So in my little head I thunk up this little idea.

I always have coupons that I pull off of items in my pantry with the anticipation of using them, but they just end up in a drawer or in a pile o' crap somewhere in my office and, well you get the picture. I needed a hand little space to hang my little scraps of paper, coupons, etc.

If you would like to make your own version of this here is how I made mine:
- Large peice of cardboard
- Large peice of fabric, enough to cover your cardboard
-Small craft clothes pins
- Ribbon
-Command Hook
-Glue Gun
-Paint (optional - for clothes pins)

Step # 1: Paint your clothes pins, if you decide to do this step. This will ensure they are dry or almost dry by the time you finish covering your board.
Step # 2: Cut your fabric if needed, to be about 1 inch longer at the top and bottom and about 5 inches longer on the sides.

Step #3: Begin to glue your fabric to the cardboard, starting with the top and bottom. Work on one edge at a time, putting a stream of glue on a 2 inch section at a time (this ensures your glue doesn't dry too quickly and its less messy this way). Fold in the corner and begin to glue down each of the sides using the same technique.

Step #4: Attach your ribbon on either corner in the back and then tie it in a bow at the top and add your pins. Hang on a command hook where ever you would like! Voila! A handy little "clip" board!
