I love this time of year. I love seeing the lights, hearing people greet each other and wish one another a happy holiday. I love all the baking and wrapping. Its just a great time of year! It makes me smile. It warms my heart.
But enough of the mushy stuff. Cause there is another side to this time of year....The Christmas To Do List.
Yep. The other kind of Christmas List. Not the good kind - ya know, the one you get to write down all the things you've been wanting.
Do you have one? Is yours taking up like 3 friggin' sheets of paper?
No? Consider yourself lucky!
This time of year my TO DO list is never ending.Seriously, I love shopping and all the events and gatherings going on each year for Christmas, but to get to that point of enjoying those things...you have to tackle the To Do list.
I feel as if I mark one item off and then add five more!
So cheers to you if you're ahead of your game and have been able to strike all the items off of your list, cause this chick is not (ahead of the game or anything else for that matter).
Hell, if we're being honest - my tree has been up for a week and it has one bow and a strand of lights on it. And the only actual complete decor?
Yep, I suck.
And if I'm being really honest - all I did was hung the garland. It was still pretty much fixed from last year. Ha!
But, even if I have to drink 32 ounces of coffee every hour, for the next 20 days... that damn tree will be decorated and all the items crossed off my list by Christmas Eve!
girl, you are not alone! I cannot seem to get motivated to do much of anything. I am usually so early with all my decor and I barely got it up this year. I keep listening to Christmas music during the day hoping that it will put me in the Christmas spirit but it is not working :( We will get there sooner or later.
