Is it over????

I can't express enough how excited I am to see this week come to an end! No, really...I can't!
This week was the start to the new school year and even though the kids won't be back until next week I have felt the struggle of getting back into the routine, even though I'm not the teacher!
Hubs is really, really good at doing things on his own. He takes it upon himself to do laundry, sweep the floor, walk the dog, etc. He is pretty impossible tough to get out of bed in the mornings and boy, does it make for interesting mornings at our house! Getting himself out of bed is not one of those things he can take upon himself or do on his own! Pray for him if I ever need to go out of town, sans hub!
Hopefully just another week and he'll be back into the swing of things. I have to remind myself of how hard it must be to get going again after being on summer break for nearly two months! I also have to remind myself of how dumb I was to choose business as a major over education! Ha!

Since I'm still new to this blogging thing and I pictures speak a thousand words, I think I'll just leave some recent photos to explain what we've been up to this summer! Warning: These are in no particular order. Come on...I'm not OCD about everything! Ha!

Hubs and Bronx did a lot of this. Mom misses out on all the sleeping in from June - August while summer break is in session. (Don't worry, there were plenty of "to do" lists to complete when they woke up)

Bronx finally learned how to go get his own stick to fetch....unfortunately he isn't concerned with the size of the stick so we're going to work on that a little more before the summer/fall is over!

Hub's American Legion baseball team won the State Championship! They were undefeated at their state tournament held down in Morehead City, NC! I was soo proud! This is the team being escorted back into town when they returned as....dun dun dun....2011 American Legion State Champions and the team getting their trophy! We breathe, bleed, eat, and sleep baseball in our house...if you don't believe me, come visit. I promise you'll leave an educated baseball fan and/or scared from the shelves, bookcases, and rooms packed full of baseball memorabilia!

Baby brother graduated High School in June! Yes the feeling ohmyfreakinggosh came over me about an hour before this picture when I realized that we're all grown up now! My parents no longer have "children" they now have....[gasp]...adults! Ahhhh!

And just because my First Wedding Anniversary is quickly approaching! I'll leave ya with one of my favorite shots from our special day...
