Tis the Season

I know, I know. The holiday season is over....but my favorite season of the year is almost here!

 BASEBALL SEASON! 

Baseball has a very special place in my heart. Its not only the sport I've watched my husband (then boyfriend) play most of his life but its also the only sport my family connects over. We like football and sometimes we'll watch basketball, but baseball is our favorite and when our teams are playing....you know it. Actually, the entire street probably knows it, especially if we're losing or playing bad. 

"Baseball was, is and always will be to me the best game in the world." - Babe Ruth 

Baseball has played a huge roll in our life and its something that we both have a passion for. It was the first thing that David and I had a conversation about when we met and its pretty much played a role in almost everything we do now. We spent most of our dating years with David playing baseball and me watching. We've attended hundreds of baseball games together. We were engaged at Yankee Stadium. Our dog's name is based on our love for baseball and our favorite team. I'm now the coach's wife and I get the VIP seat to all David's games now. Even though he isn't the one out on the field playing, its still so much fun!

I've been lucky enough to see David play out his dream in life of being a successful baseball player and now a successful coach. It makes me proud and happy to see David do something he enjoys so much and watching how passionate he is about this sport. 

I can't wait to throw on my ball cap, pack my baseball bag, grab a hot dog and watch the first game! Play ball!
